Gap Community Church was founded in 2003 as a church plant of  The Worship Center of Leola, Pa. We began holding weekly services at the Fire Hall in Gap, Pennsylvania.

In 2008, we moved to the Houston Run Community Center, where we partnered with other Christ-centered organizations to model what Kingdom relationships can look like here.

In 2025, we continued to focus on growing as Jesus’ followers. We have faced and overcome challenges in our world, and we understand the process Paul talks about in Romans 5:1-5. It says that because we have faith in Jesus, we have peace with God. Through Him, we have received grace and hope for the future. We even find joy in our sufferings because they develop endurance, character, and hope. This is possible because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
